The Museum of Ridiculously Interesting Things

A lot of pictures of Pablo Picasso without his shirt on

Picasso without his shirt on with a babyPicasso without his shirt on with funny hatPicasso without his shirt onRead on for (many) more pictures of a shirtless Picasso. Warning: it is an image heavy post, because Picasso apparently really, really liked to whip his shirt off. Perhaps he felt that extra material encumbered his artistic genius. Or maybe the legendary playboy just liked to show off the goods.

  3. Such an interesting and different thing I ever seen. After watching this picture I said to myself “Wao! wao! waooo!” But one thing I am curious to know, is Picasso a body builder?
Recently I have published an article on famous artist’s life and work. By visiting this link http://famous101.com/famous-artists-and-their-work
Here you will be acknowledged about many interesting things about famous artists and their attractive work with pictures.

This post is a major contribution. I will distribute it to students. I have often raised the Picasso shirtless issue in lectures; but students have recently raised questions of the relative quality of his shirtlessness. Many believe Max Ernst shirtless in Sedona wins. Guess it’s the choice between winning on points or winning on a knockout. There is also the matter of Damien Hirst’s full nakedness (say, as opposed to Jeff Koons’s); but perhaps that is a 21st century issue, to be distinguished from the simpler shirtlessness of early 20th century modernism. On the other hand, we have Albrect Durer’s naked self-portraits. I trust that this thematic will be part of your thesis. Applause. Best, Elizabeth

  5. Quite a collection you have here. Now the question everyone is probably going to start asking after seeing this post is…”What’s your fascination with bare chested old men?” Just joking…great post
